MOST bicycles do not have side mirrors to help them monitor what's behind. I have seen cyclists turning their heads around to check the traffic condition at the back.
This is dangerous as they could crash into a vehicle or pedestrian or a kerb in front of them while doing do. Perhaps, cyclists should be made to install side mirrors on their bicycles for safety.
