Fri, Jul 18, 2008
The Straits Times

POLICE will set up road blocks along Anderson Road and Ardmore Park, from next Monday, July 21 to 24, as part of security measures for the upcoming Asean Ministerial Meeting, Post Ministerial Conferences and Asean Regional Forum.

Slow traffic is expected along Anderson Road and Orange Grove Road, especially during peak hours.

Motorists heading from Tanglin Road to Stevens Road, or from Stevens Road and Balmoral Road to Ochard Road, are advised to use Scotts Road instead.

Visitors to Shangri-La hotel are advised to car pool or take public transport.

Police said strict enforcement actions will be taken against owners of vehicles parked illegally along affected roads.
