A painting reunites a family

ABOUT 75 people gathered at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) on Friday for the donation ceremony of Portrait Of Lim Loh by acclaimed Chinese artist Xu Beihong, whose retrospective exhibition at SAM ends on Sunday.

The Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Dr Lee Boon Yang was the Guest of Honour for the event.

It was also an afternoon of first meetings with long-lost relatives for many of the guests, who are descendants of wealthy industralist Lim Loh.
