Raising the dead

HE'S the go-to man for any number of organisations. Banks, information technology firms and even the Ministry of Defence have turned to him for one special reason - Mr Felix Chang revives the dead.

Dead data, that is - the information left embedded on devices such as mobile phones, disk drives, hard drives, CD-ROMs, memory cards, thumb drives, servers and even music players like iPods.

'Many still do not know that it is possible to recover lost data from [devices],' said the founder and managing director of firm Adroit Data Recovery Centre (ADRC), a local firm.
