CPIB officer on hurt charges

A CORRUPT Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) officer was charged in a magistrate's court on Wednesday with hurting a China woman.

Neo Siong Leng, 31, is alleged to have kicked the table towards Madam Lin Yanmei's knee and causing her pain on Jan 14.

Later that evening, he allegedly threw a file at her face and caused injuries to her lips and tooth.
