Fri, Nov 07, 2008
The Straits Times

A FORMER account manager who forged payslips from his former employer in order to secure a higher salary at his next job was fined $6,000 in a district court on Friday.

The court heard that Sebastian Lim Keng Ho, 38, was asked by Singapore Press Holdings to submit copies of his payslips and a confirmation letter issued by MediaCorp, where he had worked. He joined SPH on June 23.

When the contents of his April payslip was verified with MediaCorp, it was found that he had fabricated his salary figure.
