Qatar's Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry, Abdulla Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong met this afternoon over lunch to exchange views on possible energy collaborations between the two countries.

The two leaders shared opinions on opportunities in the energy sector, as well as economic opportunities open to both countries in Asia and the Middle East. Recent international developments were discussed as well.

Deputy Premier Al-Attiyah is here by invitation from Senior Minister Goh and will be in Singapore till Nov 8.

Their last meeting was in Qatar, where SM Goh was there for an official visit in Jan 2008.
