VEP hours shortened

FROM Monday, Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) operating hours will end at noon on weekdays - instead of 5pm - in conjunction with the start of the school holidays.

Drivers of foreign-registered cars and motorcycles will not have pay VEP fees if they enter Singapore after noon and leave before 2am the following day on weekdays. The shortened VEP hours will last till Dec 31.

Drivers can drive into Singapore for up to 10 days without having to pay the $20 VEP fee for cars and $4 VEP for motorcycles.
