Everest team to leave in Mar

SINGAPORE is sending its first ever all womens team to climb Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world.

Formed in 2004, the team consists of six young women who come from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Team leader Jane Lee is a student development officer from Republic Polytechnic, while the rest of her teammates come from advertising, pharamaceuticals and military backgrounds. Over the last four years, the team has conquered peaks in China, Nepal, Tibet and New Zealand.
