At this time, when all Singaporeans are outraged at the killing of innocent Ms Lo Hwei Yen, who was taken hostage during the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, the President and Mrs Nathan send to Mr and Mrs Lo Ping Yiu and Mr and Mrs S Puhaindran and their families their deepest condolences.

At this time of grief, he and all Singaporeans sincerely hope that they will have the strength and support to bear, with fortitude, and overcome the pain of her tragic parting.
