PM Lee on visit to Qatar

PRIME MINISTER Lee Hsien Loong arrived in Qatar's capital city on Sunday for a two-day official visit.

He is here to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Singapore and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) - of which Qatar is currently chairman.

Mr Lee is visiting Qatar at the invitation of the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, said a statement from Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry.
