A COMPANY lost more than $10,000 in cash and equipment after its office was broken into over the weekend.

An employee locked up the office, which was located along Middle Road, on Saturday afternoon and left. But when she returned on Monday morning, she found the front door tampered with and the tables ransacked.

Among the missing items were $1,100, three laptops worth $6,100 and a $3,000 projector.
