Splashed hot oil, charged

A WOMAN was charged on Thursday with splashing hot oil onto the face and body of another last Saturday.

Goh Gek Hwee, 36, a spa therapist and a permanent resident, allegedly caused hurt to Ms Chan Hoong Choo, 41, a data entry officer, at a flat in Serangoon Avenue 3 at about 8.30am that day.

She was remanded at the Institute of Mental Health for psychiatric assessment.
