Elderly not so positive

A SURVEY commissioned by the Council for Third Age showed that while Singaporeans valued seniors, seniors themselves were not so positive.

The study, which involved 2,000 participants, showed that 90 per cent of respondents believe Singaporeans can play an active role in society and are well-integrated.

However, less than 70 per cent of seniors aged 65 and above feel that way.
