Family remembers maids in obituary

Sin Chew Daily reported about a family who had included the names of their mother's three maids in her obituary published by the newspaper.

The children of the 86-year-old Singaporean had included the names of their maids together with other close family members in the obituary as the trio had taken good care of their mother.

Yan Kwee Eng's youngest daughter, Ong Meng Loo, 48, said one of the maids had looked after her mother for 18 years and had become almost a part of the family.
