By Goh Yi Han

FALLING asleep on a public bus cost a woman more than $1000 in cash and valuables on Monday evening.

The 56-year-old had boarded bus service 66 going towards Jurong East near the Jalan Besar hawker centre at about 5.30pm that day.

On the way she dozed off, and woke up only when the bus arrived at the interchange at Jurong East at about 7.30 pm.
