THE STOMP Getai Awards held Tuesday night, July 7th, was a blast with a 3000 over turnout at Kreta Ayer Square.

This is the third year that social networking and citizen journalism website STOMP is hosting the event, where it honours the talent of the best and most popular Getai singers in Singapore.

There are two parts to the Awards - a People's Choice Awards presented to the 10 most popular performers voted by the public and another 10 Special Awards recognising different aspects of the craft of getai singing.
