AN AUXILIARY police officer who stole $2 million from his employer was jailed for seven years on Thursday.

Stanley Ong Beng Hock, 28, then a Certis Cisco police constable, had admitted to the theft at the Jalan Afifi premises in Paya Lebar on April 12.

He also pleaded guilty to two other charges of removing $1.2 million of the benefits of his criminal conduct out of Singapore, and moving the sum without giving a report as the amount exceeded $30,000.
