New CEO for Arts Council

Mr BENSON Puah has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Arts Council (NAC), taking over from Mr Lee Suan Hiang from Aug 1.

He will continue to be CEO of The Esplanade Co Ltd, said the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (Mica) in a statement on Friday.

Mr Lee, who has been NAC CEO from October 2003, will become Executive Director of the Arts and Culture Development Office, a newly created office in Mica.
