Aussie trees in Sembawang

EIGHT Golden Penda trees, native to the coastal rainforest in north Queensland, Australia, made their home at Sembawang Montreal Green park on Sunday morning.

The tree-planting event was part the annual nationwide Clean & Green Singapore (CGS) 2009.

Leading the charge of over 150 Sembawang residents was Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan.
