GEYLANG United ended their eight-year wait for another piece of silverware last night, when they beat Thai side Bangkok Glass 1-0 in the RHB Singapore Cup final at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Hafiz Rahim scored the all-important goal in the 82nd minute for the Eagles, who won their first trophy since winning the S-League in 2001.
