Slingers lose unbeaten record

THE Singapore Slingers lost their unbeaten record in the Asean Basketball League, succumbing 53-70 to title rivals Philippine Patriots in Manila last Saturday.

American imports Michael Leblanc and Kyle Jeffers scored 14 points each in the losing effort.

The Slingers remain at the top of the six-team league.
