Get a head start on Christmas shopping when Santa's Village arrives in Singapore next week.
The three-day Gifts and Electronics Fest, to be held in Suntec Exhibition Halls 401 and 402, will play host to more than 100 stalls that offer electronics, toys, books and food and beverage gift options ahead of the holiday season.
Many of the items will be on special promotion, including branded electronics from Audio House that are discounted up to 75 per cent if you spend more than $300.
You can also pre-order Christmas turkeys and pudding at the food stalls.
The fair is organised by Sphere Exhibits, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings. A highlight for children will be the chance to meet Santa Claus in his living room and be showered by treats from his goodies cannon every evening at 7pm.
Competing for the kids' attention on Friday will be Hollywood Dinos, life-sized robotic dinosaurs that can move, growl and even dance using state-of- the-art animatronics.
Plant retailer Candy Floriculture will offer a selection of potted Christmas trees which, if properly maintained, can be grown in Singapore. Also on display at the stall will be a wide range of rare Christmas trees including the baby blue spruce and the cedrus cedar.
Shoppers can also share their festive spirit with the needy by donating food and household items to the Boy's Brigade Sharity Gift Box.
For quirkier gifts, you can drop by Maad (Market of Artists and Designers), a flea market of 19 stalls and browse through locally designed knickknacks such as floral hairpieces and leather key rings.
