Thumbs up for new look

my paper

These are some adjectives offered by executives who snapped up copies of the newly revamped my paper distributed at Raffles Place MRT station yesterday.

Sales executive Pang Wilson, 27, enjoys the unique content in each section while marketing manager Candy Wong, 32, said she gets something different from the paper.

A devoted reader, she said: "I enjoy both sections. I like the commentaries in the English section and the Miss Shenton column in the Chinese side."

'It's a class act'

IT'S a definite hit - the smarter, classier my paper was met with all-round enthusiasm as readers snapped up all 250,000 copies of the revamp issue yesterday.

Marketing manager Candy Wong, 32, who is a loyal my paper reader of almost two years, "loves the new executive look", and said she looks forward to taking issues home to her family.

What makes my paperstand out from other papers is that it packs current-af fairs and entertainment tidbits into one comprehensive read, and this is done using two languages, added Ms Wong.

The new paper features beefed-up content in the business and lifestyle sections, and the Chinese section is now a convenient pull-out in the middle of the paper. It is my paper's first revamp since it went bilingual in January last year.

At three MRT stations in the Central Business District, 18 Singapore Press Holdings circulation staff - who were
dressed in executive wear to draw attention to the revamp - distributed copies.

Eager first-time readers were among those who snapped up the paper. They were attracted to my paper's elegant new look, with some saying that they not only found it to be an interesting read, but that the paper is now in line with their corporate image.

"It's the first time I decided to get a copy, and I got a pleasant surprise. The paper is serious, understated and dignified," said sales executive Adam Chng, 31.

"It goes with the working image I want to portray," headded.

my paper is available Monday to Friday at 43 MRT stations, eight LRT stations, 82 coffee joints, 47 premium bus services, 18 car service centres and three shopping centres.
