China Press reported that a 75-year-old Malaysian widow is looking for a live-in partner in Singapore.
The woman, whose husband died four years ago, wanted a widower aged between 60 and 70 to live with her.
The daily quoted the woman as saying that the man should have a good family background, regular features with a height of not less than five feet two, and be healthy and financially stable.
She said the man must have a good attitude, and not be a smoker or drinker.
"I would like to find a male partner to live with me, but I would not like to marry him," said the woman, a former corporate executive who retired 20 years ago.
If she is unable to find a man, the woman said she would not mind getting a 30 to 40-year-old Singaporean Chinese god-daughter to accompany her.
The woman said as her son, a businessman in Hong Kong, and daughter, an accountant in Australia, only visited her a few times a year, she was worried that no one will notice if something happens to her at home.
