Man gets 4 years for stabbing

A MAN who stabbed another man on the back was sentenced to four years' jail on Thursday.

But Loh Chin Shung, 52, unemployed, is appealing against the sentence. Bail of $15,000 pending appeal was offered.

He admitted to stabbing Mr David Thong Tuck Wai, 30, and causing him to suffer life-threatening injuries at his Yishun flat on Aug 8 last year.
