POLICE arrested a 19-year-old man - who is believed to be involved in a series of theft cases involving taxis between last November and this month - on Monday near Tampines Street 21. Cash was stolen from the taxis. In some cases, they were also driven away, but were found the following day.

The man will be charged today. If convicted, he could be jailed up to seven years and fined.
