A CLOSING ceremony was held yesterday for the bilateral exercise "Maju Bersama" between the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) at the Selangan Primary School in Temburong.
The exercise succeeded in fostering closer diplomatic ties between the two forces besides strengthening mutual cooperation, a statement said. In concluding the week-long exercise, a Battalion attack was conducted yesterday at Bukit Lutut in Temburong. The scenario for the attack is derived from the annual three-week "Semangat Waja" exercise for RBLF personnel.
Present as the guest of honour at the closing ceremony was the RBLF Commander, Dato Paduka Seri Hj Yussof Hj Abd Rahman. SAF Chief of Army, Maj Gen Ravinder Singh, also congratulated the personnel in his speech upon the success of this year's exercise. The Brunei Times
