Billionaire Usmanov increases stake in Arsenal

LONDON, Sept 18 (Reuters) - Red and White Holdings, an investment vehicle co-owned by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, said on Tuesday it had increased its stake in Arsenal Holdings Plc to 21 percent, making it the second-largest shareholder.

Last month Red and White bought a 14.6 percent stake in the English premier league soccer club when it purchased shares from David Dein, the club's former vice chairman, for 75 million pounds ($149.7 million).
