>BAGHDAD, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Iraqi police discovered seven decomposing, severed heads and two decomposing bodies on Friday in an half-built house in eastern Baghdad, police said.
The discovery took place in Ur, a mainly Shi'ite district of northeastern Baghdad.
Such finds were a routine occurrence in Iraq during the height of the sectarian and insurgent violence unleashed by the U.S.-led invasion to topple Saddam Hussein. But violence has dropped and such discoveries are much less common now.
