LONDON - BRITAIN'S Prince Harry is being sent to retake an army equality and diversity course, following his recent apology for using racially offensive language, military sources confirmed on Thursday.
The 24-year-old, who is third in line to the throne, made a home movie in 2006 showing him referring to Pakistani fellow officer cadet Ahmed Raza Khan as 'our little Paki friend'.
He also spotted a comrade with camouflage netting over his head and said: 'It's Dan the man... you look like a raghead.' Harry has already been on the equality and diversity course as part of his army officer training but is being made to retake it following last month's release of his home movie by a newspaper.
A source told AFP that all officer cadets undergo the course, which is in line with those put on by civilian companies and includes 'fairly standard stuff about making people aware of being sensitive about what they say.
'He will be sent back to do it again. It will be a refresher for him.' Known as Lieutenant Wales within the army, Harry serves with the Blues and Royals regiment of the Household Cavalry.
He is on attachment to the Army Air Corps, where he is training to become a pilot, which will take at least two years. -- AFP
