Google founders' muse drowned

RAJEEV Motwani, the Stanford professor who inspired the co-founders of search engine Google and influenced a generation of computer scientists, has died in an apparent drowning accident, the San Jose Mercury News reported.

The 47-year-old, who did not know how to swim but had a pool at home, had  just hosted a party to mark the end of the school year.
