One dead in Disney accident

MIAMI - ONE person died early on Sunday after two monorail trains collided at the Disney World amusement park in Orlando, Florida, CNN television reported.

The network said the accident, the cause of which remains unknown, occurred at about 2am (2pm Singapore time). The victim was one of the monorail drivers.

Due to the early hour, the trains had very few passengers who were not hurt, CNN said. The accident is under investigation.
