KUANTAN, Malaysia - A 74-year-old grocer, who allowed his premises to be used as a brothel, was arrested together with two prostitutes and their clients.

The prostitutes, aged 23 and 36, are Nepal and Myanmar nationals.

District CID chief Deputy Supt Kamaruzzaman Jaafar said when police raided the shop at about 10am on Monday, they discovered 400 bottles of liquor of various brands worth about RM2,000 (S$845.40).

"As the owner had no permit to sell liquor, the case has been handed over to the Customs Department."
