Benji goes mum on 'angry' video

PETALING JAYA, Malaysia - A day after being caught on video berating Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, filmmaker Benji Lim has refused to be interviewed over the matter.

When asked about the video which has gone viral, he repeatedly said: "No comment."

Lim, who is known more for his work behind the camera, unwittingly found himself in the spotlight after he interrupted Anwar's press conference at the PKR headquarters on Monday.

While Anwar was fielding questions from reporters over allegations that he, with deputy president Azmin Ali, had instigated the crowd to break the barricades near Dataran Merdeka in the Bersih 3.0 rally on Saturday, Lim stood up and demanded answers of his own.

The video of him loudly castigating Anwar then made its way into cyberspace.

Lim accused Anwar and Azmin of endangering the lives of protesters as well as jeopardising the cause of the demonstration.
