Josie's new team steps down

The new executive committee of the Association of Women and Research (Aware) has stepped down after a vote of no confidence was passed successfully against them on Saturday.

Ex-Aware president Dana Lam was nominated the new leader, and Ms Chew i Jin the vice-president.

1414 votes were cast in favour of a no confidence while 761 votes were against in an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) that went over five hours.

The EGM was attended by some 2,000 members.

Executive committee members

Dana Lam elected as new Aware President.
Vice-President is Chew I Jin.
Hononary Secretary is Yap Chang Wi
Assistant secretary is Corrina Lim,
Honorary treasurer is Tan Ju Hin,
Assistant treasurer is Lim Xiaoyun,
