Is hugging an "indecent act"?

Two students clad in school uniforms were photographed behaving intimately at a void deck early morning on the first day of school.

The photographer, who sent the photos to STOMP, claimed that the couple was engaging in "indecent acts" like hugging while completing their homework.

"Schools should be vigilant and encourage neighbourhood resident to report any misconduct to avoid unpleasant behaviour," he added.

The photographer's views drew flak from readers, who felt that he should have been minding his own business.

Wrote STOMPer dark6445: "I saw an elderly couple hugging each other in public..do you call tat indecent act? (sic)".

Echoing dark6445's views, another STOMPer, babyblythe_doll questioned: "Indecent act? Yeah right. Don't tell me you've never hugged your own parents before?"

"Mind your own buisness (sic) first before invading the privacy of others," she chided.
