Wed, Oct 15, 2008
The Straits Times

STUDENTS of the Nanyang Technological University's (NTU) dragon boat team have raised $125,000 for a bursary fund set up in memory of Mr Poh Boon San and Mr Stephen Loh Soon Ann.

They were two of five Singaporean paddlers who drowned when their boat capsized after a dragon boat competition in Cambodia last November.

The fund, to be officially launched at the NTU Sports Appreciation Night on Wednesday evening, will give out out two $4,000 bursary awards every academic year to NTU students.
