The results are in and Singapore's hottest teachers have been announced.
Ms Rachel Chng from Serangoon Garden Secondary School and Mr Kenny Tan from Tampines Secondary School have been voted top by netizens in the 'Teach, You're Hot!' contest held on citizen journalism site, STOMP.
The contest, which opened in August last year, had asked readers to nominate teachers in Singapore who have made an impact on their lives.
In addition to looking good, teachers had to demonstrate dedication to teaching and a good rapport with their students.
A total of 22 teachers made it into the list of finalists.
The contest was divided into two categories - male teachers and female teachers.
Voting closed on Dec 31 last year.
Winning a laptop each, Ms Chng walked away with about 36 per cent of the votes while Mr Tan dominated the polls with 46 per cent of the votes.
Two voters will also win a notebook computer each.
