Doc shortage? Offer more overseas scholarships

I REFER to the ongoing discussion on the shortage of doctors and efforts to ease it.

One answer is to introduce more overseas scholarships for medicine. With a bond of a suitable term to be served in local hospitals, we would be able to attract not only young medical graduates who would have otherwise remained in their respective countries of study, but also bright, pre-university talent who value the experience of studying overseas but are unable to finance a medical degree.
