Schools ready to fight flu when they reopen tomorrow

It is all systems go when schools re- open tomorrow after the four-week June break, during which the Influenza A (H1N1) virus hogged headlines and measures were taken to prevent its spread.

The Sunday Times contacted 50 schools and all said they were geared up to implement measures laid out by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

One hundred parents polled also said they were confident the measures were enough.
