32 get Asean scholarships

THIRTY-TWO students from Asean countries were awarded university scholarships by the Singapore government on Wednesday.

Under the Singapore Scholarship Programme, the scholarship recipients will pursue their studies at the three local universities.

The programme, which is into its 11th year, is part of the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP), which aims to share Singapore's development experience and provide technical assistance to developing countries.
