Not just virtual PE

MR PHUA KIA WANG, principal, North Vista Primary School: "I refer to Tuesday's letter by Ms Lee Yuen Kay, 'Virtual PE - Get them out and run them around. Let them be children'.

My school agrees with Ms Lee that we should let children develop love for an active lifestyle and passion for sports.

In fact, our school's physical education (PE) curriculum is fun-filled, rigorous and conducted mainly outdoors.

Wii is only a small component of our PE curriculum, occupying only two out of 80 periods in the whole year.

I am happy to invite Ms Lee to visit our school to experience our PE programme and have a better
understanding of our curriculum."
