TEACHERS teaching disabled children in special education schools here will get more opportunities to upgrade themselves.

The Education Ministry (MOE) will offer up to 10 scholarships yearly to non-graduate principals and key personnel to pursue a degree in special education, and up to two scholarships yearly for graduate staff to attend a Masters programme.

Senior Minister of State for Education Grace Fu announced this on Friday at the MOE-National Council of Social Service Special Education Teacher Award ceremony.
