A STOMPer was disturbed when he came across this Facebook page belonging to a girl, who seemed to be making fun of a peer for his physical appearance and sexuality.
What's worse is that the girl's friends joined in by commenting and indicating that they agreed with what she said, says the disappointed sender.
As a result, he wonders if civics and moral education in schools has been effective.
The STOMPer says in an email:
"It really disgusts me how uncivilised our young Singaporeans can be.
"I was stunned to have see on a teenage girl's Facebook profile, how she and her other friends cyber-bully a classmate/friend of hers to the extent they even commented about his sexuality and his physical appearance.
"What is happening to teenagers these days?
"Aren't they brought up with civic and moral education?

"Didn't their parents or school teach them about values?
"It is really disturbing to see that she and her other friends teamed up against someone else without knowing that cyber-bullying is against the law.
"I think these narrow-minded senseless teenagers ought to know the seriousness of such offences.
"It is a shame to their school/organisation should they commit such an offence in public."
