STUDENT enterprises gave back to society at the annual Singapore Polytechnic (SP) Entrepreneurship Bazaar.

Held for the second year at SP, the three-day bazaar, which ended yesterday, hosted 18 stalls manned by SP students, selling clothing, accessories and snacks.

There were also four stalls helmed by Outram Secondary students, and seven by Fairfield Methodist Secondary students.

The SP students put into practice what they had learnt in their Entrepreneurship modules, and the secondary school students what they learnt in their Introduction to Enterprise Development classes, an O-level subject conducted by SP lecturers.

Proceeds from the bazaar are currently being tallied, and will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

NetSchool, an e-learning portal that provides affordable science tuition to Secondary 1 and 2 students, also donated $1,500. It was set up a year ago by four SP students aged 20 to 22.
