S.Korean cops probe SAT leaks

SEOUL: Police in South Korea are widening a probe into the leak of test papers for the US college entrance exam SAT, following the arrests of several tutors who allegedly helped students to cheat.

Late last month, a South Korean private tutor, identified only by his surname Kim, exploited the time difference between Thailand and the United States, where his students were taking the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), to help them score high marks.

A good SAT score would make it easy for them to get into a top US college.
