There were a total of 18 students who received perfect scores at Meridian JC and two students at Innova JC.
One of the top scorers from Innova JC, Sam Tan Keng Ho told AsiaOne that he did not expect to get a perfect score of 7 As.
Sam, who expressed more interest in maths and science, said that he did not do well in Economics in school, and used to score Cs and Ds for General Paper. But he worked hard at improving his essays by reading model essays and learning from them.
