Boost school websites - tap local writers
Wed, Mar 10, 2010
my paper

THE Ministry of Education should encourage more schools to utilise the wealth of home-grown content available to keep their websites dynamic and relevant.

Many school websites do not have compelling content to encourage parents to visit their sites regularly.

In contrast, I have seen an explosion of good local writing in newspapers and blogs.

If local writers can be hired to create content for schools' websites, there will be a new career opportunity for Singaporeans who write well.
