Bradley appointed ambassador for F1 in Singapore schools

Formula BMW Pacific racing driver and multiple British kart racing champion Richard Bradley has been selected to be the ambassador for F1 in Schools in Singapore.

Bradley will be sharing his secrets to success and the benefits of motorsports at an exclusive guest speaker session at the Singapore F1 in Schools Technology Challenge 2010 Finals to be held on 28 July.

Guests will also be able to witness between Bradley racing against Singapore Motor Sport Association's President Tan Teng Lip at the event, using a miniature gas-powered F1 car.

Open to the public, the finals for the F1 in Schools Technology Challenge will take place at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

A total of 48 teams across 23 primary and secondary schools will be competing for the opportunity to represent Singapore at the F1 in Schools World Championship 2011 in Abu Dhabi next year.

In addition, Singapore will be hosting the sixth F1 in Schools World Championship in September this year, where the 2009 national champions of the various F1 in Schools competitions around the globe will congregate for the ultimate challenge.
